Heartbeat is the work of Curtis L. Kendrick, a Rochester-based artist that wore all the hats in conceptualizing and producing his debut solo album, 3rd Degree, released in a 200 cassette run in 1982. Considered somewhat of a holy grail in the collecting world, Prime Time proudly releases the first single off Curtis forthcoming LP.
The b-side is a re-work, re-creation of Curtis soulful gem by the pride of Escondido, CA – Brian Ellis. Multi-instrumentalist madness occurs as Ellis adds a touch of magic and menace to the original to create something perfect for today s ears.
